Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty

L’intervento di Abdominoplasty peration entails surgical removal of excess skin and fat from the abdominal area.

At the end of the operation, which is performed under either full or epidural anaesthesia, the patient is obliged to wear a flexible sheath for at least the 4 following weeks, and with a rest period of approximately 3-4 weeks during which time sports and sexual activities must be avoided

As in the case of all surgical operations, certain risks and complications are associated also with abdominoplasty either of a surgical nature (seroma, infections and necrosis of navel or other abdominal skin tissue areas, pathological or unattractive scarring) or anaesthetic, although these occur rarely and are easy to resolve.
